One death due to BA.2 sub-variant of Omicron
As per the latest update from the official media KCNA six people have died among which one tested positive for BA.2 sub-variant of Omicron. As per the KCNA reports, the samples taken from infected individuals are similar to that of Omicron variant of the coronavirus, which caused the massive third wave of COVID in India and many countries.
